The EU End of Life Vehicle Directive dictates that manufacturers must make available dismantling instructions/data to facilitate the correct and safe depollution and dismantling of End of Life Vehicles.20 manufacturers are collaborating in a project called IDIS (International Dismantling Information System) which is a CD-ROM based set of multi marque dismantling instructions.
Now at Version 2.0.2 the product is now quite comprehensive in it's manufacturer and model coverage and is building all the time.
