As the End of Life Vehicle Directive moves forward to its UK implementation, it is becoming important to establish which treatment operators intend to upgrade their site licences or exemptions, to the status of Authorised Treatment Facilities (ATF’s). This is important so that it can be established whether there will be sufficient processing capacity to handle the likely ELV arising's under the new regime.

Should the model of implementation chosen by Government be a contract based model, manufacturers who are members of CARE will also be able to use the database of ATF’s to select candidates for ELV processing contracts.

Our aim here is to provide a direct link between operators who intend to become End of Life Vehicle treatment facilities and the motor vehicle manufacturers/importers who are members of CARE.

On the following page you will find a short form to fill in which when completed will be sent directly to the CARE vehicle manufacturers/importers for review and adding to our database.

By completing and sending the form you will have advertised your business FREE OF CHARGE to all the manufacturers who are members of CARE, you can click here to see who they are, and helped us establish the processing capacity across the UK.

Once you have submitted your form an email acknowledgement will be sent to you confirming receipt of your data.

You MAY then at some point in the future be contacted by individual manufacturers who may wish to enter into dialogue with you should your facility appear to fulfil a specific requirement that the manufacturer is looking for.
